Prescott Free Skool is always accepting donations. In producing the Free Skool calendar, we are constantly using and in need of: 11 x 8.5 paper, 11 x 17 paper, card stock, staples, thread, typewriter tape, Kinko's gift cards, sewing needles, tea, pens, pencils, markers and support.
The Catalyst Infoshop runs on community donations. Please feel free to help us serve you by donating: binders, paper and office supplies, linoleum or vinyl tile, window glass, a wooden door, a wood stove, folding chairs, bookshelves, books, dried grains, dried beans, toilet paper, soap... and so much more.

Work towards your Free Skool Diploma! What does this mean, you ask? Write a simple petition on why you deserve your Free Skool diploma. Diplomas received are not limited. You may get a degree in as many areas as you wish. When you come for a class, you will sign your name to a piece of paper stating the classes you have gone to, to document your scholarly progress. When you have achieved diploma status, we will have a party in your celebration to commemorate your achievements. This will include cake, a homemade book for your future free skool scholarly notes and your own diploma to take home and show off!

A Library membership costs $25 for a year, which helps support the cost of running the library and other Catalyst projects such as the Freeskool, Food Not Bombs, and Karma Farm. Please come take advantage of these resources. Stop by the shop and read all day!
-Karma Farm is now a committee at the Catalyst!! What does this mean you may ask? It means more solidarity and connectivity across our community. Food is the bridge that connects folks to their bio-region. We all eat and live together, and Karma Farm offers the space for forging new relationships with your neighbors and local flora and fauna. No the farm doesn't slow down in the winter, either!! We have cold-frames to build and wood to chop so don't be shy, come on by to the Farm Stand (thursday 9-2) or Farm Meeting (Mon, Fri, 10a. @ Coffee Roasters, Wed, 7p. @ the Catalyst) and get involved. We will also now be holding Catalyst Shop Hours in the Evening from 7-9 Mon-Fri, for Karma Farm sub-committee meetings. This offers a warm place to organize and work in the coming cold months. Both the Catalyst and Karma Farm are arms stretching out from the same being, so lets embrace this in it's totality and collectively work for autonomy, solidarity, and mutual aid.

Day of the Dead
The community is invited to the Courthouse Plaza and Sharlot Hall Museum on Sunday, Nov. 1 to celebrate Day of the Dead (Dia de Los Muertos) beginning at 1 p.m. at the Courthouse Plaza. This traditional Mexican/southwestern celebration honors the memory of friends and relatives who have gone before. The Courthouse Plaza gathering will be followed by a musical procession to the Museum, two blocks west of the Plaza. The group Mariachi Tierra Caliente will highlight Museum festivities, which also include folkloric dancing, local Mexican oral histories, delicious foods traditional to the holiday and viewing of memorial altars.

This will be a structured discussion covering the topics of the toxicity of tampons, diva cups, herbs that help tone your uterus and make your body and mind feel better, foods to avoid and methods and practices to help alleviate cramping and discomfort, while simultaneously embracing our life-giving blood!

This month's workshop will be a continuation of last month's dialouge on consent, which, broadly stated, is a method of intimacy that encourages partners to voice their wants, needs, limits, and hesitations inside and outside the bedroom.
